Die Qualität von geschmiedeten Hochleistungskolben
hängt von der Präzision der Bearbeitung
der Kolben und in starkem Maße von der Qualität
des eingesetzten Materials ab. Nur durch eine kontrollierte
Temperaturführung und Wärmebehandlung
des Materials vor und nach dem Schmiedevorgang
lässt sich ein Optimum in der Qualität des Endprodukts
erzielen.
Zur Wössner-Gruppe gehört seit einigen Jahren ein
bedeutendes UN EN ISO 9001:2008 zertifiziertes
Schmiedewerk in Italien. Die Verantwortung für die
bekannte hohe Qualität der Wössner Hochleistungs-
kolben beginnt somit bereits beim Einkauf des
Rohmaterials und beim Schmiedeprozess der Kolben-
Rohteile. Hinzu kommt eine deutlich flexiblere Situation
bei Beschaffung und Lieferung der Wössner-Produkte –
Wössner ist sein eigener Lieferant.

The quality of forged high performance
pistons depends on the precision of the processing
of the piston and to a great extent it depends on the
excellence of the used materials. Just controlled temperature
and heat treatment of the material before and
after the forging process will achieve an optimum in
quality of the endproduct.
Since a few years an important UNI EN ISO 9001:2008
certified forging company in Italy is part of the
Wössner Group. The responsibility for the well-known
high quality of Wössner high performance pistons
starts therefore already with the purchase of the
forgings and with the forging process. In addition to
that Wössner got more flexible in purchasing and
supplying Wössner products – Wössner is now their
own supplier.
The quality management in all areas guarantees
finally that only products of the highest quality leave
