The Sentence :<br />

1. This is a colourful shirt<br />

2. This is a beautiful flower.<br />

3. The plane is very fast.<br />

4. This is a good machine.<br />

5. This is a nice shirt.<br />

A group of words which makes a complete sense is called Sentence.<br />

Kinds of Sentences<br />

There are four kinds of sentences.<br />

1. Assertive sentence.<br />

2. Interrogative sentence.<br />

3. Exclamatory sentence.<br />

4. Imperative sentence.<br />

i. A sentence that states of or declares something is called an Assertive or<br />

Declarative sentence.<br />

A sentence can ask a question:<br />

A sentence that ask a question is called an Interrogative sentence.<br />

A Sentence can express some command, advice, request or entity.<br />

A sentence that expresses some command, advice, request or entity is called<br />

an imperative sentence.<br />
