have recently refurbished all the conference
facilities at Mauna Lani - expanding our offerings
and your possibilities. Both indoors and out; we
provide state-of-the-art facilities and technology
in perfect harmony with our unique island
setting.

acres on the Kohala Coast, with easy access to
Kona International Airport while still a world
away.
You’ll breathe a little easier exploring miles of
beaches, our Hawaiian inspired spa, and our two

Accommodations
We offer 322 luxurious rooms, 5 bungalows, and
16 luxury suites on three miles of secluded
shoreline.
Ocean views from 90 percent of the guest
rooms, acres of ancient Hawaiian fishponds with
Hawaii's most powerful mountains in view.
An authentic sense of island culture permeates this
16 th century lava flow that was once the playground
of kings.
Meeting Spaces
Mauna Lani provides a wide range of exquisite
indoor and outdoor spaces for breakthrough
meetings, dazzling presentations, scrumptious
meals, unforgettable theme parties, and unique
spouse programs.
We offer 18,200 square feet of conference and
meeting facilities throughout Mauna Lani Resort.
7,000 square feet of conference and meeting
facilities is concentrated in a private garden wing
with separate entrances connected by an open air
central Lanai.
From intimate breakout rooms to our large
ballroom and our brand new Hale Hoaloha Pavilion,
we support all your needs for a successful event.
Mauna Lani Lanai
At the heart of our conference facilities is the
Mauna Lani Lanai, a classic Hawaiian veranda. A
grand staircase and tiled reception area set the
tone in this central open-air space. Spilling out
onto a garden, the Lanai is a favorite place for
visitors to gather before or after functions in the
adjoining meeting rooms. It's also an ideal location
for receptions and cocktail parties.
Mauna Lani Ballroom
The Mauna Lani Lanai leads into the 4,810-squarefoot
Mauna Lani Ballroom, an elegant room with a
20-foot-high ceiling. The texture, space, and
ambiance invite gatherings of every mood.

In a theater setup, the ballroom seats 400; in a
classroom situation, 280; and at banquet tables,
300 people. The 65x74 foot room accommodates
450 for receptions and can be divided into four
smaller function rooms, seating 80 to 160.
Breakout Rooms
Four private rooms, three 600-sq ft breakout
rooms and the 810 square-foot Puna Room—
radiate from the central Lanai. Ideal for board
meetings, seminars, or other small gatherings.
These rooms can be equipped with sophisticated
audio-visual equipment, lighting and sound
systems. Soft fabric ceilings and textured accent
walls provide excellent acoustics and an
exquisite, intimate setting.
Hale Hoaloha “House of Friends”
Our largest meeting space is our 10,800 square
foot Pavilion - Hale Hoaloha allows receptions for
up to 1000 guests indoors and out, set amidst
exotic native gardens.
This welcoming space is 90 x 120 feet, with
expansive 18-foot ceilings. Discover the benefits
of an unforgettable event at Hale Hoaloha for
your group.
Outdoor Activities
Hawaii's perfect weather allows outdoor setups for
small dinners or grand-themed events against
magnificent sunsets and shooting stars. Mauna
Lani’s outdoor activities are held at various
locations around the hotel's beautiful 29 acres,
including the Milo Tree, a beautiful grassy location
right next to the beach.
Audio/Visual
Mauna Lani has partnered with Presentation
Services to offer an on-property full-service audiovisual
team. Our audio-visual equipment is
complete, sophisticated, and versatile, with lighting
and sound systems that can accommodate
everything from previews to Symphony Orchestra
concerts.
Internet Connectivity
Complimentary High speed Internet access is
available in all guest rooms. Laptops and other
devices equipped with wireless cards can access
the internet throughout public areas of the hotel.

Theme Parties
When your meetings are done for the day, let the party begin. Begin with an
unforgettable island sunset and end under star-studded skies. Hawaii’s mild temperate
climate allows outdoor setups for small dinners and grand themed events by the sound
of the surf year-round.
Welcome to Paradise Reception
Stroll down to the Milo Tree. Start to unwind under palm trees lit in a variety of colors
and hear the chants of a Hawaiian Trio. Get the kinks out of your neck and back with a
chair massage. Enjoy a mai tai or tropical libation. There’s no agenda, just meeting old
friends and making new ones, enjoying sumptuous appetizers, and getting into the
rhythm of paradise.
Fire and Ice
The Big Island of Hawaii is truly the land of “Fire and Ice.” From the snow-capped peaks
of Mauna Kea to the fiery glow of flowing lava. Celebrate this unique combination with
an elegant evening of music and dance.
A guitarist serenades guests as they select the cocktail of their choice from the “Martini
Ice Bar,” made entirely out of ice. Doors to the Mauna Lani Ballroom or the Hale Hoaloha
open and a world of fire and ice welcomes you. Everywhere you look it’s either red hot
or ice cold. Hawaiian vignettes are staged between five dinner courses.
The Ultimate Beach Party
Kick off your shoes for a casual night on the beach. The chefs are grilling up steaks and
shrimp, a band playing Beach Boys songs and other classic tunes gets the crowd
dancing, and even the palm trees are swaying to the beat. Unwind and enjoy all that
Mauna Lani has to offer.

Jazz Under The Stars
Let the darkness fill your imagination. Thousands of blue lights float in midair under a
canopy of stars. Combine the wonders of modern technology with the metaphysical.
We’ll arrange your own astronomer with a powerful telescope and maps of our Hawaiian
skies. Venus, Mars, and the rings of Saturn are the most popular sights. The silhouette
of hula dancers adds a touch of Hawaii to this celestial evening.
Enjoy cuisines from around the world, symbolizing our international roots. Japanese,
Chinese, Thailand, and Hawaiian foods await, or any other regional cuisine that you
might desire.
The Interactive Luau
There’s no better way to unwind after a productive day than enjoying an extravagant
Hawaiian buffet and a night of Polynesian entertainment. As guests enter the tropical
lu’au, they’re greeted by the sounds of a Hawaiian trio and keiki (children) giving them a
lei and a warm welcome. Experience a few of the ancient arts with local artisans
including lei making, palm frond weaving, poi pounding, and wood carving.
Fire Knife Dancers
Performances are woven throughout the evening. Begin with a Maori warrior dance;
after the buffet, your guests will be dazzled by a Tahitian dance or the fire knife dance.
