A COMPANY ON THE ROAD TO SUCCESS Milestones at Humbaur GmbH • 1957 Founded by Anton Humbaur at Donauwörth as a seller of agricultural machinery (trailers, ploughs, grain mills, etc.) • 1978 / 1979 Decline in agricultural machinery sales. Anton Humbaur decided to include new products in his sales programme • 1980 Move to Gersthofen, construction of a new warehouse and office building • 1981 Entry into car trailer distribution and sales. In the initial phase, these were imported from Italy, converted for the German market and sold on from Gersthofen • 1982 Ulrich Humbaur, our present managing director, joined the company • 1984 We started manufacturing our own car trailers • 1985 Humbaur GmbH company founded • 1989 We stopped selling agricultural machines and accordingly increased our production of trailers for private and commercial use • 1998 We started to produce horse trailers • 2001 We moved into newly-built administration and production facilities (22000 m²) at Mercedesring, Gersthofen • 2004 First presentation of the heavy duty programme at the IAA in Hannover • 2005 Construction of a second production workshop at Gersthofen – state-of-the-art production technology across more than 23000m² • 2006 Expansion of heavy duty programme with 30-tonne flatbed turntable trailer • 2006 First presentation of the BIG ONE semitrailer product family at the IAA in Hannover • 2008 First presentation of the Rexus box trailer with sporty retro design • 2008 Expansion of the freight programme, additional BIG ONE semi-trailer models: BIG ONE COIL and BIG ONE CONNECT • 2009 Introduction of the new SPIRIT production model in the horse trailer product sector • 2009 Introduction of the new LOADY production model with innovative steel plate bridge in the professional trailer sector • 2009 Introduction of the new ALLCOMFORT and LEMANS production models with unique tilting bearing in the vehicle transport trailer sector • 2010 First completely bolted construction of some models in the heavy duty sector 8
