Winter 2013 has seen amazing snow conditions, great success in ski racing and superb performances on
expeditions
Student Council News:
Members of the student council, led by James
Stevenson and Rotana Shaker, planned and organised a
Valentine’s Dance for the senior school, the theme
for which was ‘RED’. They decorated Exeter Hall and
Nick Makharishvili organised the DJs, Kirill Kluyev, Jean
Baraschi and Alex Biniashvili.
In addition to the Dance, the Student Council planned
and implemented the sale of ‘candygrams’. 5th and
L6th form Student Council reps Tijana Suvacarov and
Prokhor Kuznetsov along with Lana Bogdanov and
Anton Zatorskiy were in charge of planning and
buying, packaging and distributing the special packs of
candies. Overall 370 bags of candy were sold and sent
out to students and staff!
I am very proud of the work this student council has
done and particularly impressive has been the way in
which they have supported each other throughout a
busy and productive term: congratulaions especially to
James, Rotana, Lucy, Nick, Lana, Anton, Tijana, Prokhor
and Nawaf.
We congratulate all our ski racers and intrepid
expeditioners who have excelled themselves this term,
rising to challenges with courage and determination.
