Mpanga / Kipengere Game Reserve; A Biodiversity Survey APPENDIX 14: IMAGES OF THE MPANGA/KIPENGERE GAME RESERVE The reserve comprises northern lowlands dissected by the Lugala Mountains and bordered to the south and west by the Kipengere Range. This photo was taken near to the village of Machimbo and shows the Lugala escarpment beyond the lowlands. Taken from within the reserve on the track to Mpanga village, this photo shows the typical miombo woodland that dominates the northern lowlands.
