President’s Message<br />

I want to express a very warm welcome to<br />
the graduates, families and friends who join<br />
us today for this very important ceremony.<br />
It is here at Convocation that we recognize<br />
and celebrate the accomplishments and<br />
achievements <strong>of</strong> our students as well as the<br />
contributions and support <strong>of</strong> their loved ones<br />
to their success. You should be proud <strong>of</strong> this<br />
day and <strong>of</strong> the commitment and sacrifice that<br />
it represents.<br />
We at the <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Saskatchewan</strong> are very<br />
proud <strong>of</strong> our accomplishments and it is thanks<br />
in large part to you, our students, who have<br />
helped us to achieve our goal <strong>of</strong> building a<br />
world-class institution <strong>of</strong> higher learning.<br />
We extend to you our very best wishes for<br />
the future. We hope that you will stay in<br />
touch with us through our <strong>University</strong> <strong>of</strong><br />
<strong>Saskatchewan</strong> alumni family, and that we will<br />
have the opportunity to welcome you back to<br />
campus many times in the years ahead.<br />
