<strong>PPAI</strong> Introduces Promotional Products TurboTest TM A Vital Online Tool<br />

To Help Promotional Products Distributors And Suppliers<br />

Navigate Federal Product Safety Requirement Maze<br />

TurboTest TM is the first online compliance tool designed exclusively for the promotional products industry.<br />

IRVING, Tex., (August 16, 2011) – Promotional Products Association International (<strong>PPAI</strong>;<br />

ppai.org), the not-for-profit association for more than 9,000 members of the $16.5 billion promotional<br />

products industry, today launched the <strong>PPAI</strong> Promotional Products TurboTest TM , a new online<br />

navigation tool that meets the industry’s demand for a comprehensive roadmap for complying with<br />

the regulatory requirements.<br />

"Ensuring the quality and safety of promotional products is the top priority. The ultimate goal of our<br />

program is product integrity and regulatory compliance," said Paul Bellantone, CAE, president and<br />

CEO of <strong>PPAI</strong>. "The Promotional Products TurboTest tool developed by <strong>PPAI</strong> moves us a step<br />

closer to reaching that goal."<br />

<strong>PPAI</strong>, the leading authority on promotional products safety standards, developed TurboTest to help<br />

practitioners manage the ever-changing product safety compliance landscape. With just a few clicks,<br />

TurboTest tailors each regulatory review to the user’s specific needs, and puts data and tools on the<br />

desktop and into the hands of the promotional products professional. TurboTest resides on the<br />

<strong>PPAI</strong> member portal and is easily accessible from most computing platforms, requiring very little<br />

training and eliminating the need for software installation. TurboTest is a no-cost value-added<br />

The TurboTest tool is an easy-to-use question-and-answer user interface exclusively designed with<br />

promotional products distributors and suppliers in mind. A task force of industry leaders, led by chair,<br />

Gene Geiger, MAS, of Geiger and Rick Brenner of Prime Resources, helped guide the development<br />

of the <strong>PPAI</strong> Promotional Products TurboTest online tool. Other members of the task force were<br />
