What do you like best about this course:
I liked that it was hands on plus you could work at your own pace. The professor was always nice and helped everyone with the
assignments.
I liked how interactive this course was. I feel like we learned more in this environment and we could work at our own pace.
They programs were taught effectively and efficiently. Professor Tavana broke the programs down into sequences that were easy
to follow and allowed for faster learning. I also liked that the class was hands-on and I didn't have to do hours of outside
reading to teach myself the material.
New Technology and hands on- Forcing me to DO the work in class and under some (positive) pressure.
material is very organized and well structured. assignments are clear.
That we learned to use programs that could be of value to us rather than some unimportant technical information.

I liked al the example cases we did during class. It helped reinforce the concepts and prepare for the exam.
The course was very hands on and the instructor made it fun to learn all of the software packages.

The course exposed to a few new systems and software that are coming out for managers. I like working with Planner's Lab, DS
Lab and Exsys.
The professor generates a strong interest in the class and is very knowledgeable of the various types of software.

I learned a great deal in this course. Was interesting and fun.
I have a broader tool set to use in analyzing data now, which will help in my current job.
I learned about computer programs that I wouldn't have used or known about on my own.
He has pushed us to solve difficult problems. Problems that stretched our minds and way of thinking.
Professor Tavana is very helpful when you have questions during and outside of class.
I always wanted to learn MS Access but never had an opportunity and this class help me out professionally.
The software applications are programs that I'll definitely use in the workplace.

If you were teaching this course, what would you do differently:
Nothing.
I would remove the group project from the syllabus.
the project is too long and very demanding. in a way it is extensive work without much return. it is like doing a lot of time
consuming work without much learning experience.
Nothing. This was one of the best classes I've taken.

I would not have a final and weigh the homeworks more.
providing more time to start the paper would be have been helpful.
The project was not a good one. I would assign students a project on one of the systems or a combination of the systems. For
example, I would assign a project that asks students to build a good Access Database as well as do some analysis on Planner's
Lab. This way, the material learned in class is used in a "real world" scenario. Such a project would be much better than the
project we worked on. This was the opinion of many students in the entire class, and not just me or my group.
