World Teachers‟ Day in Paris, France. (Oct 2009)<br />

Recipient of Maharashtra State Best Teacher Award for the Year 2005-06.<br />

(Received in Sept 2006)<br />

Recipient of Fulbright Fellowship (Senior Research Fellowship) 2005-06.<br />

Conducted research on “Gender differences in Online Learning: Implications for<br />

the Instructional Designer” at the Florida State <strong>University</strong>, Florida, USA during<br />

Jan. to June 2006.<br />

Recipient of Rotary International Fellowship for <strong>University</strong> Teachers for<br />

teaching at <strong>University</strong> of Technology, MARA, Shah Alam, Malaysia (Jan-April<br />

2004).<br />

Invited by the <strong>University</strong> of Regina, Canada as Visiting Professor. Assisted in<br />

developing Instructional Designs for online courses. (May–July 2003).<br />

Award for the Research paper presented in the XIII Seminar Reading<br />

competition for the Teacher Educators (1987) conducted by the National<br />

Council of Educational Research and Training, New Delhi. The Paper was<br />

entitled “Improvement of Self Concept of Remand Home students through<br />

Personal Guidance”.<br />

Visits to Foreign Countries for Teaching/Conferences/Collaboration<br />

Visited China (Xiamen) to participate in 5 th World Forum of Women<br />

Presidents of Universities. (Nov 3-6, 2011)<br />

Visited on invitation by the Commonwealth of Learning, Canada to<br />

participate in an Partner Consultative Meeting on Teacher Preparation (July<br />

26, 2010). Also visited Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, Toronto<br />

<strong>University</strong>.<br />
