<strong>Corel</strong> <strong>PHOTO</strong>-<strong>PAINT</strong> lets you change the physical dimensions and<br />
the resolution of an image.<br />
Changing image dimensions<br />
You can change the dimensions of an image by increasing or<br />
decreasing its height and width. Changing the paper size lets you<br />
modify the dimensions of the printable area, which contains both<br />
the image and the paper. When you resize the paper, you<br />
increase or decrease the paper-colored border, but not the<br />
dimensions of the image.<br />
Changing image resolution<br />
You can change the resolution of an image to increase or<br />
decrease its file size. Upsampling increases resolution of an<br />
image by adding more pixels per unit of measure; however, it<br />
reduces the quality of the image. Downsampling decreases the<br />
resolution of an image by removing a specific number of pixels<br />
