Integrated Receiver Decoder
DVD922 is a Integrated Receiver Decoder designed to be used in
CATV network Headend. DVD922 can be used for receiving both
free-to-air and scrambled DVB services, and it can be used both
for DVB-S and DVB-S2 reception.

DVD922 front end has both DVB-S
and DVB-S2 demodulators thus making
it possible to receive the latest most
advanced transmission schemes and
exploiting the increased capacity of
DVB-S2. It also provides future proof
video decoding solution supporting the
migration from MPEG2 to MPEG4 AVC
and supports seamless migration from
SD to HD picture quality.
Where digital signal transport is
needed DVD922 is equipped with ASI
output in order to support that purpose.
It is also equipped with dual CI
slots with optional multi scrambling
capability gives possibility to descramble
the whole multiplex if supported by
CA module. The DVD922 also provides
high quality video and symmetric audio
outputs supporting HD to SD conversion
and audio down mixing. It also
include sophisticated service acquisition
supported by versatile audio and
subtitling language and modes selections.
Robust operation and automatic
recovery from errors are matter of
course to this product. The DVD922
is also fully configurable using CATVisor
Commander and a wide range of
monitoring functions ensure reliable
operation.
DVD922 is fully compatible with DVX
Headend System, and can be installed
in standard DVX001 installation frame.
