MULTI PURPOSE HEALTH WORKER FEMALE/ ANM –
FOR SUB-CENTRES AND IDENTIFIED SLUM AREAS
QUALIFICATIONS
• Should have passed the Matriculation Examination / 10+2 examination with science or its
equivalent from a recognized university or institution;
• Should posses a diploma in Multi Purpose Health worker (Female) / ANM from a recognized
university or institution;
• Should be registered as Multipurpose Health Worker (Female) / ANM with the Punjab Nurses
Registration Council; and
• Pass in subject of Punjabi upto Matric Standard
AGE
18-45 years. Relaxable in the case of candidates belonging to the reserved categories as per
the instructions of the State Government.
SALARY
Upto Rs. 6000/- per month fixed
Mode of Recruitment:
• The recruitment would be made district wise and preference is to be given to
an ANM who is resident of same district. If no candidate is available from
that district then ANM from other districts will be considered.
• The candidates would be selected purely on the basis of marks obtained by
them in the qualifying examination and ANM/ MPHW (F) diploma
examination and experience
• The candidates may accordingly fill the requisite details of place of domicile

Details of the sub-centres and posts are available in the office of concerned Civil
Surgeon. These posts may increase or decrease.

Note: (1) Posts may increase/decrease.
(2) These posts may be discontinued at any time depending upon the work load
requirement or validity of the project.
(3) Reservation policy of the Govt. of Punjab will be followed in the recruitment of above
categories of staff. Some of the post of Staff Nurse, are for reserved categories which are readvertised
second time.
(4) The posts will be place specific and non-transferable
(5) Application should be submitted at O/o Concerned Civil Surgeon of the District
where candidate prefers to serve.
(6) First preference will be given to the local candidate irrespective of the merit.
(7) The appointing authority will be the Civil Surgeon of the District.
