It was all Arrow on top of the Junior National Heavy podium with long time Arrow supporter
Jordan Nicolaou claiming the first National Championship of his illustrious career after
some last lap heroics saw him pass fellow Arrow drivers Mason Thomas and Macauley
Jones for the win. Nicolaou set the pace early in the race only to be caught by Thomas,
who worked his way from 16 th position on the grid, and the ever consistent Jones who
enjoyed a Final podium finish at the 2009 National Championships also. In the end it was
Nicolaou on the top step of an all Arrow podium in a pleasing result for Arrow Karts.

The Arrow Racing Karts domination continued in the Senior National Heavy class with no
less than 5 Arrow drivers vying for the lead throughout a hugely entertaining Final. Corey
Lean held the lead heading into the last corner, only to be piped at the line by 0.033 of a
second by a fast finishing Aaron Johnstone. Lean was closely followed by Matthew Waters
with James May and Richard Muscat rounding out the Final top 5.
Dale Beaton reaped the rewards of a consistent showing in the Senior National Light class
as he earned a well deserved National Championship after being on the pace throughout
the entire event. In a thrilling finish Beaton held off all challengers in a closely fought Final
race to take the chequered flag and his first National Championship.
Arrow drivers were well represented on the Final podiums throughout the event with Zeke
Edwards and Shane Price finishing second and third respectively in a very closely run
Clubman Heavy with both Arrow drivers leading the race at different stages throughout the
Final. Defending National Champion Matt Wall finished just behind Price after starting the
race mid pack aboard his Arrow Kart. The Clubman success continued in the Clubman
Super Heavy Final with Lachlan Frampton ensuring Arrow colors were proudly displayed
on the Final podium.
