Large capacity drain chamber and purge valve
for easy clearing
It has a special angled chamber at the top that is offset
from the main barrel. This unique chamber helps prevent
water from entering the main barrel while you're
snorkeling. If water does get into the snorkel there's an
innovative underside purge valve that lets water drain out
of the barrel without entering the air intake chamber of the
mouthpiece.

Oversized drain chamber and oval purge valve
for easy clearing
The SP-580Q has a special internal purge channel
located below the mouthpiece which deflects exhaled air
out the top of the snorkel while excess water drains
through the bottom purge valve.

designed for a natural fit
High flow channel and purge valve
Since the purge valve is at an angle to the body, after
clearing the snorkel, even if water remains in the
chamber it will not affect the flow of air in the pipe (away
from the mouth). Therefore, there is no gurgling of water
caused by breathing, and water does not return to the
mouth. Also, air bubbles that come from the valve pass
by the side of the face without obstructing the field of
view.
