The Authority may, in his discretion, refuse to investigate or cease to
investigate any complaint if in his opinion:
a) The complaint is frivolous or vexatious or not made in good faith.
b) There are no sufficient grounds for investigating or the case may be for
continuing investigation; or
c) Other remedies are available to the complainant and in the circumstances of
the case, it would be proper for the complainant to avail of such remedies.
In any case the Authority decides not to entertain a complaint or to discontinue
any investigation in respect of a complaint he shall record his reasons thereof and
communicate the same to the complainant and the Govt. servant/other persons
concerned.
CONDITIONS ;
1) Complaint fee Rs.20 for making each complaint.
2) The complaint will be normally disposed within a month except where
the matter requires detailed investigation may require additional time.
3) Indicating the Appellate Authority in case for an appeal against the order
passed
by the Authority of investigation.
4) Filing an affidavit along with the complaint by the Complainant.
