Q1: Do customers need to apply for new password token after launching the new
Personal Internet Banking How do I apply Will it be sent by mail
Ans Please contact your account manager to apply for the password token.
Q2: Is there any charge for the new password token
Ans It is free of charge.
Q3: Can I change to use new password token from ICBC (Asia)’s U-Shield
Ans Customer can still use the U-Shield. If customer wants to change to use the new
password token, customer can contact the related account manager to apply a new
Commercial Internet Banking account. Existing Commercial Internet Banking
account will be cancelled accordingly..
Q4: What is the meaning of 300 Complimentary Real-Time Quotes
Ans (Applicable to Personal Internet Banking, Mobile Banking and Commercial
Internet Banking; The real-time stock quote (Quote) of Personal Internet Banking
and Mobile Banking is shared.)
Generally, the Quote will be reset as 300 on the day of launching the new services.
Elite Club customers will be reset as 500. Since private banking customers do not
have limit, they will not be affected. For example, if the Quote of general customer
is less than 300 (after use), the Quote will be reset as 300. If customer has
performed securities transaction so that the Quote is over 300, the Quote will also
be reset as 300. If the Quote has been over 300, say 400, the bank will charge on
the additional 100 quotes. During the launch date, the quote will be reset as 300
(but not 300 – 100 = 200).
Q5: Can commercial customer select password token or U-Shield to perform high risk
transaction
Ans Yes, but new Commercial Internet Banking can only support the same
authentication tool.
