5.2.2 Installation with mounting block<br />

You can also fit the torque <strong>sensor</strong> on a mounting block. In this case you will need<br />

to fit balanced full couplings at both shaft ends.<br />

For suitable mounting blocks, see data sheet <strong>8661</strong>. You'll find suitable couplings on<br />

datasheet 8690.<br />

CAUTION!<br />

Avoid excessive torques, bending moments or axial forces.<br />

These will damage the torque <strong>sensor</strong>!<br />

Make electrical connections to the torque <strong>sensor</strong> during installation<br />

and monitor the measurement signal. This signal must remain<br />

within the permitted range.<br />

Support the <strong>sensor</strong> when fitting it.<br />

Do not drop the <strong>sensor</strong>.<br />

Do NOT use hammers during installation.<br />
