_X_ The project leader or designate must present the <strong>research</strong> project <strong>and</strong> results to the<br />

communities of Resolute Bay &/or Grise Fiord at a mutually agreed upon time.<br />

_X_ Copies of all reports, scientific papers, <strong>and</strong> posters must be provided to the Parks<br />

Canada office in Iqaluit.<br />

Data files will be provided to Parks Canada upon request.<br />

_X_ The Joint Park Management Committee for Quttinirpaaq National Park will review<br />

annually the terms <strong>and</strong> conditions of this <strong>permit</strong>. The <strong>permit</strong> may be revoked if terms <strong>and</strong><br />

conditions are <strong>not</strong> adhered to.<br />

_X_ The following are the approved <strong>collection</strong>s & procedures that can be made at Fort<br />

Conger historic site in Quttinirpaaq National Park during each field season. (For details on<br />

methodology, refer to application #5438. Exceptions or amendments to the methodology are<br />

identified here):<br />

2010 Field Dates: July 18-26<br />

Research Purpose: Deliver an archive of high-resolution digital images of Fort Conger for a 3-D<br />

navigable computer reconstruction of site <strong>and</strong> redesign the monitoring protocol.<br />

Activities:<br />

1. No <strong>collection</strong> of artifacts will occur unless in imminent danger of loss through erosion.<br />

2. Scanning <strong>and</strong> monitoring of site will be conducted using non-intrusive means of laser scanning,<br />

photography <strong>and</strong> measuring.<br />

3. Longer term monitoring pins may be installed to replace existing pins.
