American Indian Graduate Fellowship Program (AIGC)<br />
Eligibility:<br />
1. Enrolled full-time.<br />
2. Certified as Indian by tribe.<br />
3. Must show financial need.<br />
4. Must be in post-baccalaureate program.<br />
Amounts:<br />
Federal government funds program, AIGC selects eligible students and determines amount of each student’s fellowship.<br />
Application Process:<br />
1. File the FAFSA.<br />
2. Contact AIGC at aigc.com (http://www.aigc.com) or (505) 881-4584 to request application directly. Deadline is June 1.<br />
Employment Assistance<br />
<strong>Marquette</strong> Student Employment (MSE)<br />
Eligibility:<br />
Must show proof of identity and eligibility to work in U.S. (original birth certificate, Social Security card or U.S. passport, visa).<br />
Amounts:<br />
Varies. Determined by each employer.<br />
Terms:<br />
1. Paid every two weeks; rate of pay depends on nature of job, skills and experience.<br />
2. Recommend students work no more than 20 hours per week while classes are in session; students may work no more than 40 hours<br />
per week while classes are not in session.<br />
3. Employer determines rate of pay and frequency of payment.<br />
