Personal Property Auditor 16<br />
Change to Part Time Auditor<br />
The position was temporarily changed beginning in 2010<br />
from full time with benefits to 600 hours or less with no<br />
benefits. It will go to 300 hours for 2012.<br />
The initial work for the audits are now completed by<br />
Lori Brassard, our appraiser trainee. Norma then<br />
reviews and completes the audits.<br />
Other Duties<br />
We oversee the printing and mailing of Personal<br />
Property forms for most local units.<br />
Lori and Norma are also now involved in personal<br />
property discovery and the processing of personal<br />
property statements for our Grand Haven City project.<br />

<br />
137 Personal property audits were conducted during<br />
<strong>2011</strong> for use in the <strong>Equalization</strong> studies (L4018s).<br />

Taxable Value Changes<br />
17 requests for changes were filed with the STC<br />
$1,060,550 net taxable value was added to the<br />
Assessment Roll
