Pilot Disaster Response (PDR)<br />
Facility in the Asian Development<br />
Fund (ADF) XI period, 2013–2016:<br />
The DRF contains 3% of the<br />
performance-based allocation from<br />
the ADF pool. In the event of a<br />
disaster caused by a natural<br />
hazard, an ADF-only country can<br />
get up to 100% of its annual<br />
performance-based allocation<br />
(PBA) from the DRF to respond to<br />
the disaster, without affecting its<br />
allocation for other operations from<br />
the remaining PBA. A blend<br />
country affected by a disaster can<br />
receive up to 3% of its annual PBA<br />
from the DRF.<br />
Asia Pacific DisasterResponse<br />
Fund: A fund providing grant<br />
assistance (up to USD 3 million) to<br />
restore lifesaving services in the<br />
immediate aftermath of a disaster<br />
to ADB’s developing member<br />
countries.<br />
Contingent Credit facility for<br />
Natural Disaster Emergencies: A<br />
USD 600 million contingent credit<br />
facility established in 2009<br />
providing loans of up to USD 100<br />
million, with disbursements linked<br />
to pre-agreed parametric triggers.<br />
