Thermal <strong>energy</strong> <strong>metering</strong> - Compliance with Directive MID (2004/22/CE)<br />
MEASURING DEVICES:<br />
CONFORMITY WITH EUROPEAN DIRECTIVE MID.<br />
The European Parliament and the European Union Council enacted<br />
Directive 2004/22/CE* concerning measurement instruments<br />
(MID – Measurement Instrument Directive): it sets the requirements for<br />
a set of devices and measurement <strong>system</strong>s in order to be marketed and<br />
operated in UE countries. This directive was enacted in Italy with Law<br />
Decree February 2 2007 n. 22**.<br />
METROLOGY MARKING<br />
Conformity of measurement devices with all<br />
provisions of D.Lgs. February 2 2007 n.22 and<br />
certified by the presence, on them, of CE marking<br />
and of metrology marking composed of letter<br />
“M” and of the last two digits of the year of<br />
production.<br />
All measurement devices used in modules GE555 and satellites GE556<br />
comply with MID European Directive.<br />
