CONTRACTUAL STAFF ON SHORT TERM CONTRACT BASIS<br />

Small Farmers’ Agribusiness Consortium (<strong>SFAC</strong>) is a Society under the administrative control<br />

of Department of Agriculture and Cooperation, Govt. of India. <strong>SFAC</strong> is implementing the<br />

Central Sector Schemes of Ministry of Agriculture, Govt. of India. The objective of the Scheme is to<br />

facilitate this process by aggressively promoting agribusiness projects through its project<br />

Development Facility and Venture Capital Assistance Schemes, establishing forward and backward<br />

linkages with farmers, providing assured market to their produce thereby generating rural<br />

employment and enhancing farmers’ income. Department of Agriculture and Cooperating has also<br />

assigned additional works relating to the promotion and development of Farmer Producer<br />

Organization (FPOs) across the country under the National Vegetable Initiative and Integrated<br />

Development of 60,000 villages under Pulses Programme.<br />

Applications are invited from eligible and suitable officers for filling up of various posts of<br />

Deputy General Manager (Legal), Deputy Director(PDF), Field Officer, Legal Officer, Estate Officer,<br />

& Private Secretary on deputation basis. The pay of the officer selected for appointment on<br />

deputation basis will be regulated in terms of DOPT’s O.M. No.2/29/91-Estt. (Pay.II), dated<br />

05.01.1994 and its subsequent orders issued from time to time. The location of posts will be <strong>SFAC</strong><br />

Head Quarter, New Delhi. The details of post, eligibility conditions etc. are given as under:-<br />

1. Deputy General Manager (Legal) – 01 (one) post – (including short term contract)<br />

Pay Scale of Rs.42,000 -46,800/-<br />

Officers of the Reserve Bank of India/ National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development/<br />

State Bank of India/ Nationalized Public Sector Banks, possessing the following qualifications:<br />

holding analogous post on regular basis; or with five years regular service in a post not<br />

below the rank of Assistant General Manager (Legal) in RBI/ NABARD/ SBI/<br />

Nationalized Public Sector Banks or equivalent; and<br />

minimum ten (10) years experience in the banking sector out of which at least five<br />

(05) years should be in Companies Law, Legal and Arbitration matters.<br />

2. Deputy Director (Project Development Facility) – 02 (two) posts<br />

Pay Band-3, Rs.15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs.6,600/-<br />

Officers of Central/State Govts./ Central/State Autonomous Bodies/ Public Sector<br />

Undertakings possessing the following qualifications :<br />

Holding analogous post on regular basis; or with five years regular service in a post<br />

in the Pay Band-3, Rs.15,600-39,100 with Grade Pay of Rs.5,400/- or equivalent; and<br />

Minimum ten (10) years experience out of which at least five (05) years should be in<br />

appraisal, financing, monitoring, execution etc. of projects preferably in agri-business/<br />

agro-processing/ agro-marketing/ agro-allied projects.<br />

three (03) years experience in appraisal, financing, monitoring, execution etc. of<br />

three (03) years experience in dealing with matters under Companies Law and arbitration.<br />

5. Estate Officer-01(one) post<br />

Officers of Central/State Govts./ Central/State Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings<br />

possessing the following qualifications:<br />

years experience in English Shorthand with a speed of 100 w.p.m., English Typing Speed of 40<br />

w.p.m. and working knowledge of computer applications in MS Office, Excel, Internet, E-mail<br />

For implementation of Venture Capital Assistance Scheme (VCAS)/Horticulture Mission for North<br />

East and Himalyan States (HMNEH), <strong>SFAC</strong> requires suitable persons on contract basis for a period of<br />

six month which can be extended/ curtailed, depending on the Schemes/allocation of funds. The<br />
