NOTIFICATION FOR
Admission to First Year M.E. Part Time Courses for the
Academic Year -2013-14
Applications in prescribed format from eligible candidates are invited for
admission to the part time M. E. Programmes in
Civil-Soil Engineering
Structural Engineering
Mechanical Engineering (Design),
Production Engineering
Electronics Engineering , and
Computer Science and Engineering Courses of duration three years.
The candidate must be a regular employee serving within 60 kms radius around
Aurangabad and must have minimum 2 years of full time work experience after passing
B.E. The details regarding entrance test, application form, eligibility criteria, rules and
regulation, etc are available on the institute’s website (http://www.geca.ac.in)/ notice
board of Applied Mechanics.
In case of insufficient (less than 50%) number of candidates qualifying/aspiring
for a particular programme /discipline, the said course will not be offered for the
forthcoming year 2013-14. The decision regarding such cases shall be as per discretion
of the Principal.
The schedule of centralized admission process at Institute level is available
on the institute’s website (http://www.geca.ac.in) and notice board of Applied
Mechanics.
The provisional merit list of eligible candidates displayed on 10 th July,2013 is corrected
after incorporating some corrections. However the final provisional merit list of eligible
candidates will be displayed on 5 August 2013 by 5.00 pm in the concerned department
and on institute web site: www.geca.ac.in.

The eligible candidates from the provisional

The candidate declared non-eligible on 10 th
July 2013 in provisional eligible list, may
also apply if they fulfill experience and other
requirements by submission of new
application with DD of Rs.500/- and
relevant documents .
GATE/PGET-CET-2013 qualified candidate
who have not submitted the application so
far can submit the application along with DD
of Rs.500/- and relevant documents
Non-GATE/Non-PGET-CET-2013qualified
candidates can submit the application along
with DD of Rs.2000/-. The seats will be
offered to these candidates if seats are
vacant after exhausting GATE/PGET-
CET-2013qualified candidates only.

which his/her claim for seat shall stand
cancel.
During 5.00 pm to 6.00pm, waiting list if
any, of GATE/PGET-CET-2013 qualified
candidates will be operated.
