THANK YOU, TRULY<br />
As someone who loves summertime, the progression into winter brings a mix<br />
of emotions for me. On the one hand, I am excited for the coming Holidays,<br />
but that festivity brings a lot of work, stress, and to-dos with it. Add to that<br />
the chill and dreariness of the changing weather, and there can be a general<br />
sense of “bleh” hanging around the air.<br />
So this fall, in order to make a proactive initiative against the negative feelings,<br />
here at ECSS we have decided to make active efforts to do good. Whether it<br />
be a walk, a fundraiser, or advertising – being involved in charity proves itself<br />
to be good for others and good for the soul. Doing good, not only makes<br />
you feel good, but it also acts as a fantastic reality check. When the stress<br />
of everyday life gets weighty, I find myself thinking, There are so many less<br />
fortunate than I. All things considered, I am SO lucky.<br />
So, as we approach the season where the word “Thanks” is painted on every<br />
sign and newspaper and often gets lost in the foray, try to step back and<br />
remind y<strong>our</strong>self that there is always something to be thankful for. One of the<br />
most prolific and quotable men in history sums it up well:<br />
“For each new morning with its light, For rest and shelter of the night, For health<br />
and food, for love and friends, For everything Thy goodness sends.” ~Ralph<br />
Waldo Emerson<br />
So on that note, to all <strong>our</strong> customers: Thank you for y<strong>our</strong> time, for y<strong>our</strong><br />
