Classic Cutting-Foundation I<br />
This Classic Cutting c<strong>our</strong>se is the first<br />

designed for the hairdresser looking<br />
to enhance or complete their study of<br />
haircutting. This workshop will break<br />
down for you in detail the why, what,<br />
how, where and when of haircutting.<br />

This workshop takes the foundations<br />
of cutting to the next level, with 3 very<br />
consumer friendly haircuts and adding<br />
a twist: a long layered cut, focusing<br />
on use of advanced partings and disconnection;<br />
a mid-length style with a<br />
fluid bias movement; and, by popular<br />
demand, a short asymmetrical haircut<br />
with unique sectioning and razor work.<br />

This program focuses on 3 of the most<br />
requested designs for 2012 and takes<br />
you through each style, step by step.<br />
The featured looks are based on romantic,<br />
wearable, designs from the<br />
runway and red carpet. The first look<br />
is a gorgeous braided up do exampled<br />
by Valentino for their Spring 2012<br />
runway collection. Secondly we will<br />
showcase the very popular “faux bob”<br />
recently worn on the red carpet by celebrities<br />
such as Taylor Swift and Kate<br />
Beckinsale. The faux bob is a beautiful<br />
vintage design that can transform long<br />
hair clients without the commitment of<br />
a cut. Lastly, we will exemplify the understated<br />
elegance of the “messy” bun<br />
with a formal a-symmetrical twist. This<br />
seemingly effortless design requires<br />
the mastering of some important finishing<br />
skills.<br />
