The New Å KODA Octavia

The ŠKODA Octavia GreenLine vehicles
are powered by the 1.6 TDI CR DPF/81kW
diesel engine, which on its own is already
a guarantee of an economical operation
yet a dynamic drive. The Start-Stop
system, energy recovery functionality,
tyres with low rolling resistance and
specic modications leading to a reduced
drag resistance coefcient, such as
lower chassis, help achieve a combined
consumption of 3.3 l/100 km at a CO 2
emission level of a mere 87 g/km.
The GreenLine version can be identied
by the original badge on the front grille.

The reduced
drag resistance
coefcient of the
liftback version is
largely achieved
by the spoiler on
the 5th door. The
GreenLine badge
can also be found
on the rear of
the car.
The Start-Stop system saves fuel
by automatically switching off the
engine every time its operation is
needless. When required, you can
deactivate Start-Stop using the
button on the moulding in front of
the gear stick. The engine load can
be reduced and more economic
operation achieved thanks to the
energy recovery functionality that
enables the use of kinetic energy to
charge the car battery.
Standard equipment
includes 15" steel
wheels with Sidus
hub covers
and low rolling
resistance tyres.
The GreenLine
version may be
equipped with
16" Velorum alloy
wheels* with low
rolling resistance
tyres.
