The list of shortlisted candidates for counseling leading to admission into
Six Year Integrated B.Tech Course in Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge
Technologies (RGUKT) for the academic year 2013-14 was released on
10.07.2013.
Precisely as per our published schedules, the counseling for the shortlisted
candidates was successfully conducted at the RGUKT Campuses at Basar, Nuzvid
and RK Valley (Idupulapaya) on 24 th and 25 th July 2013.
The number of candidates admitted including the special categories Category
(NCC, CAP, Sports & Physically Challenged) was as follows:
Total No. of candidates admitted in RGUKT Basar: 917
Total No. of candidates admitted in RGUKT Nuzvid: 923
Total No. of candidates admitted in RGUKT RK Valley: 911
Now, the campus wise vacancies are as follows:
Vacancies for RGUKT Basar: 83
Vacancies for RGUKT Nuzvid: 76
Vacancies for RGUKT RK Valley: 87
Total seats vacant: 246
The vacant seats will be completely filled from the selected candidates out of
those waitlisted candidates who would attend the counseling meant for the
waitlisted candidates on 28 th July 2013 as per the schedule. Seats will be allotted
as per the merit order in the respective reservation categories against the
vacancies in each category. It is a must for those who are interested to be
considered for the vacant seats to attend the counseling without fail at 8am on
28 th July 2013. Those who are selected against the waiting list should join

immediately at the campuses. A few days of time may be given for Transfer
Certificate submission against representation, if a selected candidate has already
joined in Intermediate, elsewhere.
Classes have already commenced for the admitted freshers from today the 26 th
July 2013 as per the schedule.
