THE BID OPENING will be October 2, 2012 at 2:00 PM, ELMORE HALL ROOM 101, RADIO ROAD,<br />
GAINESVILLE, FL 32611.<br />
This addendum shall be considered part <strong>of</strong> the Contract Documents for the above mentioned project as though it had been issued at<br />
the same time and incorporated integrally therewith. Where provisions <strong>of</strong> the following supplementary data differ from those <strong>of</strong> the<br />
original Contract documents, this addendum shall govern and take precedence. Bidders are hereby notified that they shall<br />
acknowledge receipt <strong>of</strong> the addendum.<br />

NOTICE TO BIDDERS:<br />
A. This addendum shall be considered part <strong>of</strong> the Contract<br />
Documents for the above mentioned project as though it had<br />
been issued at the same time and incorporated integrally<br />
therewith. Where provisions <strong>of</strong> the following supplementary<br />
data differ from those <strong>of</strong> the original Contract Documents,<br />
this <strong>Addendum</strong> shall govern and take precedence.<br />
B. Bidders are hereby notified that they shall make necessary<br />
adjustments in their estimates on account <strong>of</strong> this addendum.<br />
Bidders shall acknowledge receipt <strong>of</strong> this addendum.<br />
DRAWINGS:<br />
1. The staging area will be on the south side <strong>of</strong> the building<br />
along the south side <strong>of</strong> the ro<strong>of</strong> area <strong>of</strong> Alternate No. Two.<br />
Overhead protection is to be provided for the building exit<br />
at that location. The staging area may extend across the<br />
east-west sidewalk but a removable section <strong>of</strong> fencing at<br />
each end is required so the sidewalk can be left open for<br />
access during non-work periods. Each staging area is to be<br />
completely fenced at all times.<br />

The staging area may extend to the south side <strong>of</strong> the eastwest<br />
sidewalk but needs to stay out from under the drip<br />
line <strong>of</strong> the trees and may extend south to the next sidewalk<br />
but stay back 1’ from the sidewalk. The staging area at<br />
the building shall have the scaffold stairs and the staging<br />
area on the south side <strong>of</strong> the east-west sidewalk shall have<br />
the portable toilet. Vehicular access shall be along the<br />
south sidewalk and caution is required.<br />
2. The Contractor shall stay <strong>of</strong>f <strong>of</strong> ro<strong>of</strong> area Alternate No.<br />
One if that alternate is not accepted. The Contractor<br />
shall protect the ro<strong>of</strong> area in Alternate No. Two if that<br />
alternate is not accepted.<br />
