PREREQUISITE/S<br />

SYNOPSIS<br />

Students from 7 faculties other than FMHS, who has the<br />

strongest desire to learn the knowledge and practice of healthy<br />

lifestyle and greatest desire to discipline themselves to continue<br />

this healthy lifestyle through out their lives.<br />

The students will learn on healthy lifestyle and will be able to<br />

share with others. Students will learn by attending (22) lectures<br />

on healthy lifestyle and will do 14 activities or exercises for<br />

healthy lifestyle with instructors.<br />

By attending lectures, students will attain knowledge and<br />

experience on healthy lifestyle. By participation in activities,<br />

students can continue the exercises and activities through out<br />

their lives and maintain their healthy lifestyles.<br />

The students, who attended the course and actively participated<br />

in the weekly activities, would enjoy the knowledge gathered<br />

from the lectures and would be addicted to the weekly physical<br />

activities and finally disciplined themselves to do regular<br />

exercises daily.<br />

The students not only fulfilled their physical, mental and social<br />

well beings, they would be able to spread around their<br />

knowledge and experience to others so that this healthy lifestyle<br />

course would benefit more people.<br />

By the end of this course, students will be able to:<br />

o Describe the healthy lifestyle and lifestyle habits that<br />

affects wellness. (C2, P2, A3, LL)<br />

o Describe the benefits of daily exercises and apply the<br />

principles of physical activity in their daily life. (C2, P2,<br />

A2)<br />

o Discuss stress management, sleep management and healthy<br />

causing obesity, how to prevent and its risk factors and<br />
