My name is Jake Sorensen. I am a professional photographer/filmmaker<br />
based out of Heber <strong>City</strong>, Utah. As a photographer, I provide on-location<br />
photography/videography and studio portrait sessions to the Salt Lake <strong>City</strong><br />
Valley and surrounding areas: <strong>Park</strong> <strong>City</strong>, Heber <strong>City</strong>, Provo, Orem, Kamas,<br />
Oakley, Deer Valley, Midway, Promontory, Deer Crest, and most of<br />
Northern Utah. I received a degree in Film and Media Arts from BYU and<br />

My love for photography is partially what led me into the film industry. The<br />
only real difference between cinematography and photography is that one<br />
camera takes twenty-four pictures every second instead of one. While film<br />
producing is my primary career, I could never make a clean break from<br />
photography. I continue doing what I love through my company Perfect<br />
<strong>Pictures</strong> Photography. I love the challenge of telling a story or finding a child’s<br />
personality through a single image.<br />
I work with each client to discover their desired styles and personalities.<br />
Unlike many photographers, I will provide you with a High-resolution CD (or<br />
downloadable link) of all the final images at no extra charge.<br />
Most of my work is done on-location making it convenient for you. I will<br />
work with your location or I can recommend somewhere nearby. If desired, I<br />
also have a home studio in Heber <strong>City</strong>, Utah for in-studio shoots.<br />
