BC10 Battery Charger
The IQ V Series cordless power system features a “smart,” digitally controlled charger
that is compatible with every one of our IQ V Series lithium-ion or nickel-cadmium
batteries. When a battery is inserted into the BC10 charger, it automatically determines
the battery’s chemistry, voltage, and condition, thereby optimizing the charge process.
The BC10 charger dramatically extends the usable life of IQ V Series batteries by
refreshing lithium-ion cells, and by detecting voltage depression (i.e., “memory effect”)
in nickel-cadmium cells and alerting you to use the charger’s renew feature.
IQ V Series Batteries
Ingersoll Rand offers nickel-cadmium and lithium-ion batteries
in 7.2-volt, 14.4-volt, and 19.2-volt capacities. A universal
battery interface allows you to use both battery chemistries
with any of our tools. Integrated microprocessor circuitry
optimizes charging, protects cells, and enhances performance.
And, their patent pending twist-to-lock mount design
eliminates wear and tear common to other types of
battery mount clips and slides.
