There is an old Chinese saying: "<strong>Paradise</strong> is in the heavens, Suzhou and Hangzhou are<br />

on the earth." If you spend any length of time in China, you will hear this time worn<br />

saying uttered numerous times by locals when describing two of the most beautiful<br />

cities in China. In this package, you will also have the chance to visit Nanjing, the<br />

capital city of six dynasties with brilliant cultural heritage, and Wuzhen, a well<br />

persevered water town, like China’s Venice.<br />

<strong>Tour</strong> Itinerary<br />

Day 1 Nanjing<br />

Upon arrival in Nanjing, you will visit the Yangtze River Bridge and Nanjng Massacre<br />

Memorial, a memorial hall in memory of the victims in the Nanjing Massacre, where<br />

you can also have an insight of the history of the city. In the afternoon, you will go to<br />

Mou Chou lake, a lake with many beautiful stories, especially about the sacrifice for


love. In the evening, you can spend your free time to experience the traditional<br />

Confucius Temple and try the local food and folk arts. Stay in the hotel in Nanjing.<br />

Day 2 Nanjing<br />

A trip to the Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen is the highlight of the day. As the Father<br />

of Modern China, Dr. Sun fought unyieldingly against the corrupt Qing government<br />

and led the 1911 revolution to end feudal system and found Republic of China, leading<br />

Chinese people into a new era. After that, you will visit the former presidential<br />

residence and Yuhuatai (Rain Flower Platform), a cemetery in honor of revolutionary<br />

martyrs. Stay in the hotel in Nanjing.<br />

Day 3 Suzhou<br />

After the breakfast at hotel, you will transfer to Suzhou, the Garden City of China.<br />

The first stop is Tiger Hill. Then you will take a boat cruise from the Tiger Hill to the<br />

Cold Mountain Temple (Han Shan Si ). In the afternoon, you will visit the Lingering<br />

Garden (Liu Yuan), which is listed on the world heritage list by UNESCO. A trip to the<br />

Suzhou Silk Embroidery Institute will help you understand the techniques about the<br />

silk making. Stay in the hotel in Suzhou.<br />

Day 4 Hangzhou<br />

After Breakfast, we will take a bus to Hangzhou. Upon arrival, you will visit Lingying<br />

Temple and Feilai Feng, a famous ancient temple in China. In the afternoon, you will<br />

visit the Yuewang Temple, and take a walk long the famous West Lake.<br />

Day 5 Hangzhou-Shanghai<br />

You will have a cruise along the West Lake in the morning. In the afternoon, you will<br />

head to Wuzhen. A water town with two-thousand years’ history in its ancient stone<br />

bridges floating on mild water, its stone pathways between the mottled walls and its<br />

delicate wood carvings. It will give you a unique experience through its profound<br />

cultural background. Back to Shanghai before dinner time.<br />

Day 6 Shanghai-Canada<br />

Free time in the morning. Sent to the airport in the afternoon.<br />
