There is an old Chinese saying: "Paradise is in the heavens, Suzhou and Hangzhou are
on the earth." If you spend any length of time in China, you will hear this time worn
saying uttered numerous times by locals when describing two of the most beautiful
cities in China. In this package, you will also have the chance to visit Nanjing, the
capital city of six dynasties with brilliant cultural heritage, and Wuzhen, a well
persevered water town, like China’s Venice.
Tour Itinerary
Day 1 Nanjing
Upon arrival in Nanjing, you will visit the Yangtze River Bridge and Nanjng Massacre
Memorial, a memorial hall in memory of the victims in the Nanjing Massacre, where
you can also have an insight of the history of the city. In the afternoon, you will go to
Mou Chou lake, a lake with many beautiful stories, especially about the sacrifice for

love. In the evening, you can spend your free time to experience the traditional
Confucius Temple and try the local food and folk arts. Stay in the hotel in Nanjing.

Day 2 Nanjing
A trip to the Mausoleum of Dr. Sun Yat-sen is the highlight of the day. As the Father
of Modern China, Dr. Sun fought unyieldingly against the corrupt Qing government
and led the 1911 revolution to end feudal system and found Republic of China, leading
Chinese people into a new era. After that, you will visit the former presidential
residence and Yuhuatai (Rain Flower Platform), a cemetery in honor of revolutionary
martyrs. Stay in the hotel in Nanjing.

Day 3 Suzhou
After the breakfast at hotel, you will transfer to Suzhou, the Garden City of China.
The first stop is Tiger Hill. Then you will take a boat cruise from the Tiger Hill to the
Cold Mountain Temple (Han Shan Si ). In the afternoon, you will visit the Lingering
Garden (Liu Yuan), which is listed on the world heritage list by UNESCO. A trip to the
Suzhou Silk Embroidery Institute will help you understand the techniques about the
silk making. Stay in the hotel in Suzhou.

Day 4 Hangzhou
After Breakfast, we will take a bus to Hangzhou. Upon arrival, you will visit Lingying
Temple and Feilai Feng, a famous ancient temple in China. In the afternoon, you will
visit the Yuewang Temple, and take a walk long the famous West Lake.

Day 5 Hangzhou-Shanghai
You will have a cruise along the West Lake in the morning. In the afternoon, you will
head to Wuzhen. A water town with two-thousand years’ history in its ancient stone
bridges floating on mild water, its stone pathways between the mottled walls and its
delicate wood carvings. It will give you a unique experience through its profound
cultural background. Back to Shanghai before dinner time.

Day 6 Shanghai-Canada
Free time in the morning. Sent to the airport in the afternoon.
