We do things differently.
At heart, we are Athletes. Professionally, we are experienced
Garment Developers. We combine our understanding and love
for the road, with our skills and expertise in garment manufacturing.
Every garment, every product is designed and developed in
Australia. We source the very best Italian and International fabrics.
We use the latest manufacturing techniques. We achieve a
level of function and performance that is simply unmatched.
Our aim is to create gear that expresses everything great about
our sport and everything great about you. We want to make you
proud of being a cyclist once again.

THE MATERIALS.
Selection of individual fabrics and trims is what sets Black
Sheep Cycling apart. We have got the very best.
Light Asteroid. Our base fabric from Italy that is used throughout
the jersey. One of the lightest warp knit fabrics available
that still keep you covered, combined with superior breathability
and perspiration management.
OpenCell Mesh. Strategically used in the side panels of the
jersey. Provides even more ventilation and comfort.
Core Power. Italian made warp-knit fabric used in the bib that
has been chosen for it’s supreme abrasion resistance. For
those wanting to geek out, we have recorded over 50, 000
cycles on Martindale.
Power Cuff. The Power Cuff provides a specific amount of compression
around the thigh to maintain fit and performance.
BSC High-Density Foam Pad with Perineum Support. Probably
the most important part of any kit. Our pad is the epitome of
comfort and performance. A high-density foam construction
(90kg) with perforation channels ensure a comfortable ride of 5
hours or more. We have also added Perineum Support for those
riders spending time down in the drops or on the bars.
Reflective Pocket Trim. It’s minimal. It’s discrete. And it keeps
you visible and safe.

THE CONSTRUCTION.
The quality of the materials used is only as good as the quality
of the construction used to put the garment together. We have
made no compromises. This is riding, like you have never
known.
Form Fitting. Contoured paneling and tight lines for ultimate in
aerodynamics and comfort. These jerseys are snug, tight, the
proest of pro. Whatever you want to call it. If you are after a
baggy jersey, unfortunately you will have to look somewhere
else.
Laser Cut Paneling. Every panel of fabric used has been laser
cut to give the cleanest of lines and the most consistent of fit.
Flat lock Stitching. Our method of stitch that reduces abrasion
against skin and provides the ultimate strength to the garment.
Full-length Zipper. Because nothing else would be sufficient.
Elasticized gripper on hem. Keeps your jersey in place, keeps
your fit pro.

FLORAL FINN.
The Floral Finn catches your eye from afar, then you quickly
turn your head hoping you haven’t been caught. You look again,
move closer, your heart starts to race. This is something you
have never seen before. The vibrant floral features are only a
small part of this piece of art, with teal and green leaves on a
black backdrop creating a sense of risky elegance. The Finn
Sheep is well-known for it’s broad hind quarters and it’s exceptional
fertility. What a man!

SPECKLED LINCOLN.
The Speckled Lincoln is that guy at school that could just do no
wrong. Not the jock, yet far from the nerd. That good looking
dude that played sport effortlessly and managed to get top
marks seemingly without opening a text book. He didn’t follow
the crowd, the crowd followed him. Females flocked. Like it’s
high school human metaphor, the Lincoln is an extremely rare
breed of sheep. He is very handsome and can sometimes be
seen with hair long enough to be put into a bun. The ewes go
crazy.

TEXEL.
Meet Texel. You have never met Texel before. She is not from
around here but that is a good thing. Texel is here to shake
things up. The colours are beautifully vibrant yet they don’t slap
you in the face. There is also an alluring complexity with geometric
triangles layed in a beautiful mosaic. Texel takes it’s
name from a breed of sheep originally from an island in the
Netherlands. Texel ewes are known for their remarkable wool
quality, travelling long distances and being able to adapt to
diverse environments. We suggest you make friends with Texel.

PANAMA.
The Panama is all about minimalism, simplicity, and elegance.
It’s for the woman with an unmatched work-ethic and a quiet
confidence. It’s for the woman that knows she can do all things,
not defined by one thing. It’s for the woman that is beautiful
and only needs clothing to compliment that beauty. The
Panama sheep is exactly the same. Highly valued for it’s fine
merino wool, the Panama is highly respected and highly saught-after.

The Jackson Short Finger is like your favorite pillow at home. It's
like the blankie you never let go of when you were three or four,
or fifteen years old. The Jackson Short Finger is as comfortable
as you can possibly get. The Short Finger is the perfect combination
of minimalism, comfort, and performance. The palm
features strategically placed padding in critical pressure points,
and a high stretch slip-on cuff for a sleek but comfortable fit.
