ONE IF BY LAND... SEVEN IF BY AIR<br />

• Newberry quarterback Bryan Ehrlich became the sixth quarterback in Newberry history<br />

to throw four touchdown passes in a single game with his four touchdown strikes<br />

in the win against Livingstone.<br />

• Ehrlich repeated the feat in the loss at Samford on Sept. 16, as well as the Bishops<br />

Trophy victory over Lenoir-Rhyne on Oct. 2.<br />

• Ehrlich set the school record for touchdown passes in a game with seven TD completions<br />

at Tusculum. That is also a new record for the South Atlantic Conference.<br />

• Ehrlich threw for three touchdowns in the first quarter against Livingstone, which<br />

ties him with Josh Stepp for a school record for touchdown passes in a quarter, as Stepp<br />

threw three TD strikes in the third quarter of the playoff win over Albany State in 2006<br />

• Senior wide receiver Brandon Bostick has a chance to move towards the top of the<br />

all-time receiving yardage charts at Newberry, with 450 yards to second place. A recordbreaking<br />

season could challenge record holder Tymere Zimmerman.<br />

• Newberry held Valdosta State to 183 yards of offense in the loss on Sept. 8, marking<br />

VSU’s lowest yardage total since the year 2000.<br />

• The Wolves have held teams under 250 yards of total offense 27 times since the beginning<br />

of the 2000 season, with a record of 25-2 in those games.<br />

• Newberry’s last loss prior the to VSU game when holding its opponent under 250<br />

yards was the 2002 Presbyterian game, when the Blue Hose won 14-10 despite only<br />

201 yards of offense.<br />
