2011 NEWBERRY WOLVES GAME NOTES GAME SEVEN • TUSCULUM • Oct. 22 ONE IF BY LAND... SEVEN IF BY AIR • Newberry quarterback Bryan Ehrlich became the sixth quarterback in Newberry history to throw four touchdown passes in a single game with his four touchdown strikes in the win against Livingstone. • Ehrlich repeated the feat in the loss at Samford on Sept. 16, as well as the Bishops Trophy victory over Lenoir-Rhyne on Oct. 2. • Ehrlich set the school record for touchdown passes in a game with seven TD completions at Tusculum. That is also a new record for the South Atlantic Conference. • Ehrlich threw for three touchdowns in the first quarter against Livingstone, which ties him with Josh Stepp for a school record for touchdown passes in a quarter, as Stepp threw three TD strikes in the third quarter of the playoff win over Albany State in 2006 1. 2011 NEWBERRY WOLVES GAME NOTES GAME SEVEN • TUSCULUM • Oct. 22 ABOUT THE 2010 TUSCULUM GAME • Newberry quarterback Bryan Ehrlich and receiver Brandon Bostick teamed up to put on one of the best offensive performances in college football history in last year’s victory at Tusculum. •The pair were both named SAC Offensive Players of the Week after games that rank among the best in not only Newberry history, but the SAC and the state of South Carolina. BRANDON BOSTICK • 11 receptions, 322 yards, 3 TDs • Bostick’s performance broke the record for the school, the SAC and the state. It is now the ninth best in Division II history.
