ABSTRAK
I
Penjana fungsi merupakan satu alat yang amat berguna dalam bidang
rekabentuk dan pengujian litar analog. Namun demikian penjana fungsi yang sedia
ada di parnran adalah mahal dan mempunyai ciri pengoperasian yang terhad. Projek
ini adalatr bertujuan untuk membina sebuah penjana fungsi kawalan komputer yang
murah dan berkeupayaan baik. Projek yang terdiri daripada bahagian perkakasan
elekffonik yang dikawal oleh perisian yang dibina sendiri dan implimentasi
pengawalan yang dilaksanakan melalui antararnuka peranti papan induk sistem
komputer. Tiga fhktor utarna yang diarrbil kira dalam rekabentuk penjana fungsi ini
ialatr firktor kos dan kemudahan mendapat komponen dan juga fbktor ciri-ciri yang
diperlukan. Penjana fungsi kawalan komputer yang direkabentuk mempunyai kos
yang rendalq komponen dan ca^ra pembangunan yang mudah serta perisian yang
ramah pengguna.

ABSTRACT
I
The function generator is a very useful tool in the field of design and testing
of analogue circuits. Unfortunately, most function generators in the market are
expensive and have limited features. This project is aimed at building a low-cost, yet
oapable computer controlled function generator. The project is formed by the
electronic hardware of a function generator that is controlled by a custom built
software and the method of interfacing is performed utilizing device slot of a
computer system's motherboard. Three main factors considered in the design of the
function generator a^re the cost, the availability of oomponents and the characteristics
demanded. The function generator that is designed is cheap, simple in it's
implimentation and components and it's interface is very user-friendly.
