ABSTRAK<br />

Penjana fungsi merupakan satu alat yang amat berguna dalam bidang<br />

rekabentuk dan pengujian litar analog. Namun demikian penjana fungsi yang sedia<br />

ada di parnran adalah mahal dan mempunyai ciri pengoperasian yang terhad. Projek<br />

ini adalatr bertujuan untuk membina sebuah penjana fungsi kawalan komputer yang<br />

murah dan berkeupayaan baik. Projek yang terdiri daripada bahagian perkakasan<br />

elekffonik yang dikawal oleh perisian yang dibina sendiri dan implimentasi<br />

pengawalan yang dilaksanakan melalui antararnuka peranti papan induk sistem<br />

komputer. Tiga fhktor utarna yang diarrbil kira dalam rekabentuk penjana fungsi ini<br />

ialatr firktor kos dan kemudahan mendapat komponen dan juga fbktor ciri-ciri yang<br />

diperlukan. Penjana fungsi kawalan komputer yang direkabentuk mempunyai kos<br />

yang rendalq komponen dan ca^ra pembangunan yang mudah serta perisian yang<br />

ramah pengguna.

ABSTRACT<br />

I<br />

The function generator is a very useful tool in the field of design and testing<br />

of analogue circuits. Unfortunately, most function generators in the market are<br />

expensive and have limited features. This project is aimed at building a low-cost, yet<br />

oapable computer controlled function generator. The project is formed by the<br />

electronic hardware of a function generator that is controlled by a custom built<br />

software and the method of interfacing is performed utilizing device slot of a<br />

computer system's motherboard. Three main factors considered in the design of the<br />

function generator a^re the cost, the availability of oomponents and the characteristics<br />

demanded. The function generator that is designed is cheap, simple in it's<br />

implimentation and components and it's interface is very user-friendly.
