ECTS credits: 6 Contact Hours per Week: 3 Semester: Autumn Planned Learning Activities and Teaching Methods: Lectures and seminars, individual work Assessment methods and Criteria: Written exam and written paper Course content: Course should increase knowledge and expertise in EC company law. Apart from the initial lectures, whereas the general knowledge on the EC commercial law is provided, the course focuses on the analysis of the EC Treaty on the freedom of establishment, regulations and directives as well as ECJ decisions in the field of EC company law. The course concentrates on the problems due to which certain areas of the EC company law has not been harmonised yet: law applicable to undertakings, primary establishment of undertakings, regulation of the groups of companies and etc. It also covers the problem of employees’ participation in the decision-making process, questions on recognition of companies and others.
