SCHOOL IS BACK IN SESSION! NEW,
IMPROVED AND BETTER THAN EVER!
WELCOME BACK EVERYONE!
We are looking forward to a year filled with learning
and fun for both students and teachers. All that we
teach and study this year will be infused with Jewish
values and derekh eretz: behavior built on the fact that
each person is created in God’s image.
This year, we will be piloting a program where students
from the area’s day schools join us on Sunday mornings
to assist in our classes. This will be a wonderful
opportunity to learn together and make new friends.
We’re also looking for some of our own CMT Religious
School graduates to join us on Tuesday afternoons as
teachers’ aides. If you happen to know an interested
student in 5th grade or older, please send him or her my
way!

kids learn about mitzvot and social action while
practicing their social skills.
Please stop by, come in, and visit your children’s school.
Welcome the new week with us on Sunday mornings
during our school-wide havdallah celebrations and
Tuesday afternoon Torah services. We’d love to have you
join us!

Teachers will be continuing their professional
development through our partnership with Gateways
professionals who will be guiding them both in and
out of the classroom in areas such as cooperative
learning, curriculum mapping and sharing best practice.
Classroom dynamics, mentoring, and lesson planning
will be just a few of the topics that we study through
our Gateways grant and CJP grant. On Wednesday
afternoons, CMT hosts Mitzvah Mensches -- an
integrated program where teens with special needs work
