ELECTRONIC TAX RETURN FILING<br />
The Georgia Department <strong>of</strong> <strong>Insurance</strong> is pleased to announce that electronic tax return filings<br />
will be accepted beginning October 22, 20<strong>10</strong>. Insurers may utilize one <strong>of</strong> the following options<br />
to file tax returns with the Department:<br />
1) insurers that use TriTech S<strong>of</strong>tware’s PREMIUM Pro tax application can now file<br />
electronically through the application,<br />
2) insurers not using TriTech S<strong>of</strong>tware, but who still want to file electronically, may<br />
go to the Department’s Premium Tax homepage at http://www.oci.ga.gov/<br />
PremiumTax/Home.aspx <strong>and</strong> access the Georgia only PREMIUM Pro<br />
application for at a cost <strong>of</strong> $ 5.00 per filing, or<br />
3) a paper return may be submitted.<br />
All tax forms are available for electronic filing. Attachments to forms <strong>and</strong> schedules may be<br />
uploaded via instructions within the tax application.<br />
An electronic payment system within the tax application is not activated at this time. Please remit<br />
your payments using one (1) <strong>of</strong> two (2) methods: mail your check with the return (if a paper<br />

financial institution to the Premium Tax bank account. The bank account numbers remain the<br />
same. If you are not already doing so, <strong>and</strong> wish to pay your taxes via electronic transfer (ACH),<br />
notify our <strong>of</strong>fice at 404-656-7553 for banking information.<br />
