READ CAREFULLY
> CARE OF HORSES AFTER SALE: Although it is the consignor’s
responsibility to provide care and feed for horses until noon the day
following purchase, please be reminded that title passes at the fall of the
hammer, at which time the purchaser assumes all risk and responsibility for
the horse. Purchasers are advised to contact the consignor to confirm that
proper care is being provided. ALL HORSES MUST BE MOVED
FROM THE SALE PREMISES BY 12:OO NOON, SUNDAY,
AUGUST 1, 2010. Horses remaining after that time are left at the buyer’s
risk and are the buyer’s responsibility. Any delays in shipment of horses
must be approved by the sales office.
> ALL ACCOUNTS MUST BE PAID IN CASH AT TIME OF SALE,
unless satisfactory credit has been established whereby personal checks can
be approved. Cost of collection, including attorney’s fees, will be assessed
to the buyer.
> BUYERS at the sale must present letters of credit from their banks if
personal checks are used in payment (see form in catalog).
> AGENT’S AUTHORIZATION: Persons acting as agents must so
indicate on the Sale ticket and file an Agent’s Authorization in form
satisfactory to Texas Quarter Horse Association simultaneously with
settlement of the buyer’s account.
> EXAMINE HORSES PRIOR TO PURCHASING: Veterinary
assistance is available at bidder’s expense on request to the sales company.
Examine horses before bidding.
> ANNOUNCEMENTS: To avoid making costly errors, please pay
attention to all announcements made from the sales office and the auction
stand, especially concerning horses on which you intend to bid. Also, be
sure to obtain all CATALOG UPDATE INFORMATION, which will be
available in the sales office prior to the sale.
