READ CAREFULLY<br />

> CARE OF HORSES AFTER SALE: Although it is the consignor’s<br />

responsibility to provide care and feed for horses until noon the day<br />

following purchase, please be reminded that title passes at the fall of the<br />

hammer, at which time the purchaser assumes all risk and responsibility for<br />

the horse. Purchasers are advised to contact the consignor to confirm that<br />

proper care is being provided. ALL HORSES MUST BE MOVED<br />

FROM THE SALE PREMISES BY 12:OO NOON, SUNDAY,<br />

AUGUST 1, <strong>2010</strong>. <strong>Horse</strong>s remaining after that time are left at the buyer’s<br />

risk and are the buyer’s responsibility. Any delays in shipment of horses<br />

must be approved by the sales office.<br />

> ALL ACCOUNTS MUST BE PAID IN CASH AT TIME OF SALE,<br />

unless satisfactory credit has been established whereby personal checks can<br />

be approved. Cost of collection, including attorney’s fees, will be assessed<br />

to the buyer.<br />

> BUYERS at the sale must present letters of credit from their banks if<br />

personal checks are used in payment (see form in catalog).<br />

> AGENT’S AUTHORIZATION: Persons acting as agents must so<br />

indicate on the Sale ticket and file an Agent’s Authorization in form<br />

satisfactory to <strong>Texas</strong> <strong>Quarter</strong> <strong>Horse</strong> <strong>Association</strong> simultaneously with<br />

settlement of the buyer’s account.<br />

> EXAMINE HORSES PRIOR TO PURCHASING: Veterinary<br />

assistance is available at bidder’s expense on request to the sales company.<br />

Examine horses before bidding.<br />

> ANNOUNCEMENTS: To avoid making costly errors, please pay<br />

attention to all announcements made from the sales office and the auction<br />

stand, especially concerning horses on which you intend to bid. Also, be<br />

sure to obtain all CATALOG UPDATE INFORMATION, which will be<br />

available in the sales office prior to the sale.<br />
