Over the past several years, the ASIFA-Hollywood Animation Archive has built its collection to over 5,000 digitized animated
films and 50,000 scanned images. It would never have gotten so far so fast without the help of dedicated volunteers. These
are the people who spend hours processing and cataloguing material for the archive database. Tonight, we honor three of
our most important archive volunteers with ASIFA-Hollywood’s Certificate of Merit.
Myles Mikulic is a Media Theory student at Cal State Northridge. He began volunteering at the ASIFA-Hollywood Archive in
the fall of 2008, where he gained a deeper understanding and appreciation for archiving and history. Mikulic is currently
applying to graduate school.
