Footy functions for
MFC/MCC members
In addition to playing a part in the
club’s future success, dual MFC/MCC
membership provides the opportunity
to access a range of functions during the
footy season.
The first of these is the MFC/MCC Game
Day Luncheon in the Jim Stynes Room at the
Round 3 match against West Coast Eagles on
Saturday April 13.
Members and their guests will enjoy a
two-course luncheon, half-time afternoon tea,
pre-game beverages and entertainment. A cash
bar will operate during the game.
This luncheon will recognise the number
two. Special guests will include players who
wore that number and any other connection
that may include the number two.
Located in the Olympic Stand, the Jim
Stynes Room is one of the stadium’s premier
facilities and offers a superb dining area with
behind-glass, theatre-style seating that boasts
magnificent views of the ground. If you prefer

Guests will require a visitor ticket to access
the ground so members should ensure they
pre-purchase their visitor tickets early.

Other functions will be held for matches
against Richmond on Sunday May 19 and
Western Bulldogs on Saturday June 29, so
mark your diaries!
The Demons’ most famous No. 2, Robert Flower. The
guernsey number is a central theme at the MFC/
MCC Members’ Game Day Luncheon on April 13.
Celebrating
women in sport
The Women of the MCC (WOMCC)
special interest group is holding a
function in April to recognise the
contributions made by elite female
athletes, in particular our Olympians.
Hosted by Tiffany Cherry, the dinner titled
Women in Sport – Tales from the Olympic
Starting Line, will be held in the Committee
Room on Wednesday April 17 and is open to
all MCC members and their guests.

MCC/VRC Members’ Lounge
In a joint initiative between the two reciprocal
clubs, MCC members and guests are invited
to join Victoria Racing Club (VRC) members
and guests at the AFL match between Carlton
and Melbourne on Sunday May 5.
Enjoy an afternoon in one of the MCG’s
premium function rooms to experience
footy from the exclusive “MCC/VRC
Members’ Lounge”.
The package includes beverages, grazing
menu, door prize draw, private room with
behind-glass, theatre-style seating and views
over the MCG. The function runs from
2.15pm until 6.15pm with the match
commencing at 3.15pm.
Bookings open on March 14 and will be taken
on a first-in, first-served basis until sold out.
Members may bring up to four guests.
Please ensure visitor tickets are pre-purchased
for guests as a booking does not grant
access to the Members Reserve.
