RE: Lumo Energy Australia Pty Ltd Audit - Corrective Actions
Dear Mr Heeps
I refer to your letter dated and received 15 May 2012 regarding the Lumo Energy
Australia Pty Ltd, (Lumo), Audit 2011 and the required corrective actions.
The Commission has requested Lumo enter into administrative undertakings for
our key performance indicators and conduct remedial actions to further
strengthen and document a limited number of obligations by 22 June 2012.
Attachment A:
Lumo agrees to complete the required corrective actions and has commenced
engagement proceedings with Ernst and Young to conduct a limited audit of our
key performance indicators to provide the Commission with reasonable assurance
of our compliance. Ernst and Young will provide to the Commission an update by
22 June 2012 as to the status of the audit with a final report to be provided to
the Commission by 22 July 2012. It is Lumo's intent to demonstrate our current
compliance to the key performance indicators and provide a statement of intent
to Ernst and Young for further augmentations which are currently in-progress and
will be completed after the audit.
Attachment B:
Lumo has previously implemented a number of remedial actions to ensure
compliance with the matters set out in attachment B. For any remaining matters
Lumo agrees to ensure rectification by 22 June 2012 except where system
enhancements are required; in this instance Lumo proposes to notify the
Commission of implementation timeframes. Lumo will provide an update by 22
June 2012 to the Commission as to the status of all remedial actions.
