WHO WE ARE CONTINUED
Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, whose confidence is in him. He will be like a tree
planted by the water that sends out its roots by the stream. It does not fear when heat comes; its
leaves are always green. It has no worries in a year of drought and never fails to bear fruit.
Jeremiah 17:7-8
TRANSITION TEAM NEWS
We trust in God. We have no worries.
We will not fail to bear fruit.
The Transition Team met March 13. Both our opening prayer and address from our chairman were
focused on trusting in God and the need for prayerful discernment. We began exploring the values
that we as Kairos Prison Ministry International hold important. We reviewed the Board of Director’s
discernment retreat notes. We shared our life experiences. We discovered that we have grown
out of teachable moments and are still learning about these values. We discerned that it is important
that we succeed as a team for the whole ministry.
As we work through decisions as a team we will focus our prayers on remembering the big
picture. What is our mission? What is God calling us to do?
We discerned that to accomplish this we need your input, your discernment and especially your
prayer. YOU are our most valuable resource! So, we are asking all of those in KPMI to add the
following to your morning prayer:
May KPMI be of one accord, submissive to God’s will,
empowered by the Holy Spirit and
of encouragement and strength to each other

We’d appreciate your prayers, thoughts and concerns and will continue to stay in contact. Together
we will continue to discover our most important values and lead KPMI into a new tomorrow.
