What will I do after graduation?
This is one of the biggest questions you will face in your lifetime.
Consider a career in tennis. You can make a great living teaching
tennis, with some entry level jobs starting at $40,000 a year! And
PTR will help you get started.
An “Ace in the Hole”
Even if your plans after graduation do not include tennis, it always
helps to have a marketable trade. PTR Certification is an impressive
line on any resume. If you currently teach tennis part time or
during the summer, PTR Certification may enable you to move up
at your tennis facility. Some employers will even pay part or all of
your membership dues!

What is PTR?
PTR is a non-profit organization. Our mission is to educate, certify
and serve tennis teachers and coaches. Not only do we provide
the best preparation for certification, we also provide you unsurpassed
service. We’re there to help you succeed throughout your
career. PTR Certification is the most recognized tennis teaching
certification in the world and will lend impressive credentials to
your resume.
What are the benefits?
In addition to access to our Job Bulletin, as a member, you will
stay on top of industry trends with Tennis magazine, Bob Larson’s
Daily Tennis News, TennisOne, ITF’s Tennis iCoach and our award

Who is eligible for PTR on Campus?
Full time students age 16-24 with at least a 4.0 NTRP rating.
How do I prepare for PTR certification?
When you join, you will receive access to online study materials
that will help you prepare for PTR Certification.
You can also register for a PTR Certification Workshop. You
have a choice of four (4) categories of certifications :
• 10 & Under
• 11 to 17
• Performance
• Adult Development
PTR conducts hundreds of workshops around the country

schedule.
What is the initial cost?

$197-297 (+ workshop fee) $157-197 (see reverse for details)
Annual dues are only $47?
That’s right. As a full time undergrad, your annual renewal is
only $47, instead of the regular price of $147. You save $100
each year!
What about liability insurance?
Some clubs require teaching pros to carry liability insurance.
PTR has an optional $6 million liability coverage for students
for only $20 per membership year.

professionals and coaches. PTR on Campus offers a special price for membership and certification for full time
students age 16-24 with at least a 4.0 NTRP rating.
