ZA-1036 Transportable DF Antenna Array is a DF antenna array
containing three Adcock-type sub-arrays. Each consisting of five
dipole elements, arranged symmetrically around a central mast.
It is designed for installation on a pneumatic mast integrated
into a vehicle or equipment shelter.
ZA-1050 High Gain DF Antenna Array provides very high
accuracy, limited azimuth sector DF performance in conjunction
with a higher antenna gain than is available with omnidirectional
DF antenna arrays. This is a large, fixed-site array.
ZA-1450 Ultra-High Frequency (UHF) DF Antenna Array is a
correlative interferometer DF array enclosed in an airbornequalified
radome containing two Adcock-type sub-arrays. The
ZA-1450 is designed for ground-mobile operation on top of a
vehicle, on an equipment shelter or under an aircraft fuselage.
ZA-4501 Shipboard DF Antenna Array is a three Adcock-type
sub-array design. It provides Communications Electronic Support
Measures (CESM) capability for a ship’s early warning and self
protection, as well as search, DF and monitoring for intelligence
collection. The DF antenna array is designed for installation on
the top of the tallest mast on the ship.
ZA-4505 Fixed Site DF Antenna Array provides high accuracy
DF performance for fixed-site installations. The DF antenna
array is made up of three Adcock-type sub-arrays, each
consisting of five dipole elements, arranged symmetrically
around a central mast or tower. This antenna array can be used
with DRS’s ZA-1050 High Gain DF Antenna Array.
ZA-4506 Low-Profile Rooftop DF Antenna Array is a DF
antenna array designed for mounting on a flat surface such as
on the top of a vehicle or small boat. The assembly contains
three Adcock-type sub-arrays. Each sub-array consists of four
monopole elements that are arranged symmetrically.
ZA-4510 Mobile Mast-Mount DF Antenna Array provides high
accuracy DF performance. The DF antenna array is designed for
installation on a pneumatic mast integrated into the vehicle or
equipment shelter. When the mast is retracted, the DF antenna
array is low enough to permit on-the-move DF homing
operations.
ZA-5000 Airborne Very High Frequency (VHF) DF Blade
Antenna and the ZA-5001 Airborne Ultra High Frequency
(UHF) DF Blade Antenna are designed for use in airborne DF
antenna arrays. Their rugged design is suited for operation in
subsonic airborne applications, while providing the high degree
of amplitude and phase stability required for use in
interferometric DF antenna arrays.
WIDEBAND DIRECTION FINDING ANTENNAS AND ARRAYS
DRS’s Wideband Direction Finding (DF) Antennas and Arrays
provide flexible alternatives for a variety of Communication
Intelligence (COMINT) and Electronic Intelligence (ELINT)
platforms. The antenna arrays work in conjunction with DRS’s
Integrated and Intercept DF Systems, providing superior
COMINT performance in detecting, intercepting, locating,
analyzing, and recording signals of opportunity.
DRS’s antenna arrays are available to meet ground
(mobile and fixed), airborne and shipboard applications.
Additionally, the antenna arrays offered meet a wide span
of size, weight and environmental requirements. Efficient
antennas are utilized, covering very broad frequency
ranges, allowing for deployment of highly sensitive and
versatile DF systems.
FEATURES
• Antennas ranging from 20 to 3,000 megahertz
• Antennas available for VHF/UHF COMINT/DF Systems
• Excellent DF accuracy and sensitivity
• Accurate high performance antennas used with DRS’s
DF systems
• Designed to meet customer requirements
APPLICATIONS
• Airborne
• Shipboard
• Small boat
• Ground-based mobile (DF On-The-Move)
• Ground-based transportable (DF when stationary)
