10th Annual USJF National Kata Clinic
September 24th-26th ‘10 Boise, Idaho
Each year judoka from all over the
country gather to practice the various
judo kata. The United States Judo
Federation is proud to sponsor the
10th Annual USJF National Kata
Clinic. This year’s USJF National Kata
Clinic is to be held in the beautiful City
of Trees in Boise, Idaho September
24th-26th 2010 and will be hosted by
the Intermountain Yudanshakai and
Intermountain Black Belt Association.
This years clinic will feature kata instruction
from Sensei Eiko Shepherd
(7th Dan) of St. Louis, MO., Sensei
Noboro Saito (8th Dan) of Clawson,
MI., and Sensei Frances Glaze (6th Dan) of Maumee,
OH. All clinicians bring a tremendous amount of experience,
knowledge, and various national and world recognized
credentials and certifications. The kata clinic will
include instruction in all 7 forms of judo kata including
testing and certification on Sunday September 26th.
Youth ages 10-16 are encouraged to participate and will
be given a reduced rate for all three days of kata instruction.

Bishop Kelly High School is located in West Boise and is
approximately 15 minutes from the Boise Airport and
within close proximity to various accommodations. Participants
will have access to a hospitality room, classroom,
locker room, and showers.
Registration:
Registration will be held on Friday Sep. 24th at 8:00am. All
participants will be required to show a current and valid
USJF, USJI, or USJA membership. All participants will be
required to complete the necessary registration form and
“Waiver and Release of Liability” form prior to participation.
(No Exceptions)
Details:
- The first 20 registered participants will receive a FREE 10th
Annual USJF National Kata Clinic T-Shirt.
- Participants will receive a USJF participation certificate for
attendance.
- USJF registered participants that test for kata certification
and meet the necessary requirements will receive a USJF
Kata Certification Certificate.
- Cost includes daily lunch, snack, and ice water.
- No refunds for participant cancellations.
