Presidential Address
TMOD Address
The Club Past Sergeant at Arms, TM Madhavi,
opened the meeting and briefed the audience
about the mission of TMI and reminded the taboo
topics to be avoided during the meeting. The everbubbly
TM thanked TM Dr. Shankar for the
venue.
TM Abhilash, the promising member of FOY, was
introduced as a trainer by passion and profession
by the President. TM Abhilash was extremely well
prepared and was full of enthusiasm throughout
the meeting. The TMOD started with the speech
of Martin Luther King ‘I have a dream’ and spoke
how the dream of one man changed millions of
lives. Some of the TMOD memorable lines are
‘Dreams nourish your soul. you need to dream to
live.’ ‘Dreams are powerful’. Well done and well
said TM Abhilash!
President TM Chandrashekar is a happy President after
the Club Contest, which is the most awaited event of
the year for any TM club. The President shared his
experience about the organization of the contest. The
motivational President reminded the audience of the
22 roles available in any TM meeting and encouraged
the members to take up the opportunity. The President
also compared the SAA role to an unknown soldier
and saluted the role.

Word Master
The eloquent TM Sonali introduced the word Zeal which means
enthusiasm which makes someone determined to do something.
TM Sonali kept the session short, sweet and simple for the
members. The Word Master gave few examples of how the word
can be used and conducted a brief round robin session took
place during which the word Zeal was used.
Prepared Speeches Session
Project 2: Organize your speech by TM Rayyan
Even though it was not the speaker’s ice breaker, we got to
know more about TM Rayyan with his 2nd project. Lots of
humor was emerging from the speech which had a message.
Highlights from the speech: An Indian family needs to have a
Doctor or Engineer in the family, in his case, his parents have
both, TM Rayyan is an Engineer and his brother is a Doctor. TM
Rayyan flagged the lack of guidance in the university system in
India where students are pushed to select a speciality at an
early stage, too early in his opinion... Well done TM Rayyan!
Project 2: ‘Speaking to inform’ Adv Manual by TM Lisbella
Essence of Sleep
After starting her speech with humor, TM Lisbella introduced
her topic which was relevant to all --- ‘sleep’. Wether we have
the right amount of sleep, lack or too much of it, we all need to
take care of our sleep. TM Lisbella went over the sleeping
disorders that individuals face. The speaker educated us on the
different types of ‘power naps’ that are crucial for all of us.
From nano naps, micro naps, mini naps, original power naps to
the dreaming naps, we got briefed on all the naps. Very
informative TM Lisbella!

Speech Evaluation
TM Gautam Bhatia
TM Gautam proficiently evaluated the speech. The evaluator
appreciated that TM Rayyan met the speech objectives. The
evaluator thoroughly enjoyed the topic and the way TM Rayyan
organized his speech. A recommendation would be to work on the
conclusion which seemed impromptu.
TM Karthik Keyan
TM Karthik brilliantly evaluated the speech which he enjoyed and
confirmed that the speaker surely informed the audience which is the
purpose of the project. TM Karthik mentioned it was a well laid out
speech and had a message to take home from the speech. An area
which the speaker could have done differently would be to have a
more powerful introduction and to reduce the info on the slides.

Closing Session
TM Hanif, as always, started with a
bang and got everyone laughing.
Then the General Evaluator went on
with a proficient evaluation of all the
m e e t i n g s e g m e n t s . T M H a n i f
mentioned that he truly enjoyed the
meeting. The GE referred to our
TMOD as an hero! True Bollywood
Style huh!
